SonghaySystem.com Releases First ‘Official’ Adobe Flex Sample

Buy this book at Amazon.com! Over a year ago in “My First Flex 2 Framework,” the feelings of achievement were brimming over with just being able to get Flex to run (on Eclipse). Today marks the first move toward finally replacing my retired Flash MX assets from 2003!

Dynamic XHTML and Supported HTML Markup” contains my code (which is actually in an archive file) and commentary on how Adobe Flex uses E4X to load XHTML files to display its “subset” of HTML directly in the Flash player.

This is the first in an ongoing series of samples that wrap up all the little things I need from Flex to design media interfaces for sites like kintespace.com.

Update: the archive, zip file that contains this sample also depends on the Flex Songhay Core source—yet another zip file.
