Open Letter to support@alienware.com

Re: Your Alienware purchase is almost complete

Please cancel this order without any further solicitation. The following points are for your consideration:

  • You need to explain in detail why Alienware portables are far superior to Dell (parent company) alternatives. Alienware is great for gamers but filmmakers and musicians need at least one or two paragraphs of acknowledgment on the web site. Where’s the Alienware podcast or downloadable video that really explains the Alienware difference?
  • You need to revisit why my perception concluded that Alienware shipping was over $100 (the last straw) and Dell had a $19 alternative.
  • We finally went with a Dell Inspiron 6400—$500 less than the m5550. Please make every effort to reduce this decision to the absurd with metrics on the order of magnitudes.
