African Linguistic Realizations of Empire

When the concept of egocentrism was reintroduced to me through the works of authorities like Paramhansa Yogananda, I came away from this with the assumption that egocentrism is natural byproduct of human life. Heck, one can argue that even children are egocentric—so this must be with us for the rest of our lives and any declarations of separation from egocentricity are eventually revealed to be bullshit.

After reading one chapter in a book by Dr. Jacob Carruthers, I now articulately realize that egocentrism is an essential foundational element in Imperial Conditioning. Egocentrism is no accident—it is a Greek innovation. It is an essential amino acid in the meat protein of Western Imperialism. It is the base of a revolutionary mindset that has literally transformed the face of the Earth. You see, folks, the first mistake I made was not being sharp enough to separate the difference between egocentrism and egoism—but that is another lecture for another person of a higher learning that precedes and exceeds me.

My point today is that egocentrism is a universal thang. Anyone—even Africans—can be egocentric. Many of us Black folk have been accused by some soul brother or sister Number One that we are suffering from a “European mindset”—and this keeps us “slaves” to “the man” in perpetuity. What I am saying here is that egocentrism being accepted as natural will keep us slaves to white supremacy for as long as the planet (and perhaps some rocks nearby in this solar system) can support white supremacy. Think of some the African descended people you know—and how difficult it would be to separate them from an egocentric mindset. Now you know what the real struggle is.

When I write the word I in this language, I am nurturing all that is egocentric. Remember the basics my sophist ones: “ego” means I. The subject of every sentence in this language is a person, a place or a thing—and person usually comes first and quite often. This language arranges the universe around my disconnected self and material objects—and I speak and think this way every day… The difference between most of you and me is that I know that this manner of speaking and thinking is fundamentally incorrect. I’m just posting this here so y’all can understand why we are talking loud but saying nothing: English must be broken in the ‘right’ places. All languages that are influenced by and are direct descendants of Imperial Latin must be broken. This counter-revolution is not violent and it won’t be televised.
