The Bayindo Group SA presents its 5 th Annual Congolese Memorial. This gathering is to allow the remembrance of those that have died at various times in Congolese history ranging from the victims of Belgian King Leopold, to the Luba pogrom of President of Mobutu Sese Seko, and ending with the extermination of the Congolese that took place during the "African World War" that began when the Rwandan Army (1996) and Ugandan Army (1998) invaded The Democratic Republic of the Congo resulting in the death of 7 million Congolese.
This year, during our remembrance, a candle will be lit for the victims of other mass-killings such as the Aborigine, the victims of Nanking (China), The Armenian Genocide, The Holocaust, The Native Americans, The Caribbean, The Middle Passage, The Sahaleian Death Trade, and Latin America.
