[Still more] internships
Hi everyone, we still have several internship openings available. If you already have enough work on your hands, please share this information with others who you know will be interested.
At-Large Editor internship
The At-Large intern will apprentice under our co-editors in contributing to all areas of the publication. This is an ideal position for high school seniors and undergraduates in their first two years. The intern will be responsible for producing one contribution per week online across all topic areas, copy editing, story budgeting, artwork coordination and more. Must be prepared to commit to a possible 12 month term. Letters of inquiry should explain, from a personal perspective, the value and potential of The Liberator Magazine. School credit is offered. Film Editor internship
The Film Editor internship applicant should demonstrate a passion for Film and any applicable subcategories including, Acting, Short Film, Moving Images and Production. The intern will be responsible for producing one contribution per week and actively engaging with our online community. Must be prepared to commit to a possible 3 month term. School credit is offered (however, applicants for this position in particular do not need to be students). Contact us to express interest.
Literature Editor internship
The Literature Editor internship applicant should demonstrate a passion for Literature and any applicable subcategories including, Short Stories, Creative Essays, Memoir, Poetry and Authors. The intern will be responsible for producing one contribution per week and actively engaging with our online community. Must be prepared to commit to a possible 3 month term. The Style Editor internship applicant should demonstrate a passion for Style and any applicable subcategories including, Personal Aesthetics, Restaurants, and other Valuable Community Destinations in various cities around the globe. The intern will be responsible for producing one contribution per week and actively engaging with our online community. Must be prepared to commit to a possible 3 month term. Community Event Editor internship
The Community Event Editor internship applicant should demonstrate a passion for Community Events and any applicable subcategories including, Parties, Lectures, Conferences, Art Exhibits, Study Groups, Film Screenings and Concerts. The intern will be responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of community events in cities where there are Liberator Magazine readers. This involves reaching out to community organizations and institutions in various cities and monitoring social networks for relevant events. Must be prepared to commit to a possible 3 month term.
