New audio, beats, chants, released under UNIVERSAL BEINGS, comes from multi-disciplinary artist William Ismael. I'm definitely getting some Gary Numan sound beds from ETERNAL. Track #3, SOMETHING YOU LOVE, takes me back to a hybrid among early MC Solaar, Sananda Maitreya and the Talking Heads.

I'm so excited to share with you all that one of my videos was chosen, among others, to stream in the L.A. Freewaves innovative project, Out the Window, which puts video art on 2,000 metro buses!

Videos will begin streaming on buses this April 2013 through June 2013. Two videos will be featured each week and each video will play once per hour each day.

If you ride the bus, keep your eyes open for fabulous video art, mine especially! LOL! OMG!!!

"Critical Deadline Looms for Black Mothers and Girls"

There is a deadline looming of great concern to Black parents of school-aged children. Last month the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) released a proposed rule that would update the nutritional guidelines for snacks sold in schools for the first time in 30 years. The public has until April 9th, to make comments about how strong or weak the final rule should be.
