Why does ICE always raid workplaces?

Health insurance is not synonymous to health care.
Having health insurance doesn’t guarantee the quality of care or access to care.
Many insurance plans are deeply restrictive and continue to creat barriers to accessing actual care.
I knew the El Paso shooter was a white man when they started talking about how the brain isn’t fully formed at 21. Because they treat black children like adults at 9, 10, 11, and 12.

Racist POTUS isn't new or even all that shocking. But at least they used to attempt to hide it!

@AfricanaCarr Yes, it continues to amaze me how this ancient idea that every human is alive because an organization of wise women designed for it totally redefines what “a woman’s right to choose” once was. It implies that a man is only “king” because women designed for it😇

@Reelblack Decades ago Dr. Amos Wilson warned us about suggesting that racism has no rational roots: https://kintespace.com/player.html#/audio/libradio02
Ignoring the planning and conspiracy at the roots makes shit magical and mysterious, a perfect theater set for the typical white liberal (of all skin colors)😇
Race is a “made up” social construct used to divide not unite. We can’t have a real conversation about race in this country until we all acknowledge the fact that it’s not real, “it’s made up”
@AyeeshaGreen @IsiahThomas Yup, the greatest export from the Victorian age. The folks with the most Neanderthal DNA literally turned the definition of humanity on its head. It was either Hobbiton or Sauron😇

I loved Jadine in Tar Baby, and I loved Toni Morrison for giving us complex black women characters we could relate to ❤️

Two African Men by Rembrandt van Rijn #art via @dailyartapp
In the Dutch 17th century, Africans were usually depicted as secondary figures or enslaved. But Rembrandt has made them the main subject; presumably these were free men who lived in Amsterdam https://twitter.com/jazprose/status/1159662769823801344/photo/1
@KinteSpace @jazprose @DailyArtApp Not sure but I'm currently studying Rembrandt's Prodigal Son at the behest of Henri Nouwen
@jazprose @RowenaMonde @DailyArtApp Yes, the symbol of the map in works of the period was a subtle, still-life reminder of Dutch colonial commerce which requires the defamation and distortion of the colored “other” to justify the theft.😇 Now I am wondering whether Rembrandt ever painted a map in his work. ...?

Just overheard while walking past Benjamin Banneker Recreation Center pool in northwest DC:
One little girl to her friend: “I am your full elder.”
Neither one of them was older than 10 years old.
You gotta #LoveBlackChildren
Old white dude at the airport didn’t know I had a 1st class ticket—Tried blocking my way, sure he was on before me.
When I excused myself past him he demanded “How the hell are you getting on before me?”
I tapped his Zone 3 Coach ticket with a smile “Because you’re ghetto.” 😎
Instead of being jealous of another woman, ask her how she did it. You never know her journey unless you've walked in her shoes.
@BougieBlackGurl It's a great thing to say but very hard to do when one has never seen this behavior before at all. Most children learn by physical example and grow up to pretty much do what they physically felt as experience. Too few of us can realize from evidence unseen.😇
