2001 Console Shots
Since my last examination of Kubrick’s 2001—A Space Odyssey, I recall a production meeting months ago when I brought up these shots:
These are examples of painting a face with light. For our production, I was seeing similar shots with a female face—and the face is taking up more of the frame.
