ANDRIA ALBERT is a Los Angeles Native, a youth without voicelessness. Her 21 years is a crowning achievement over the perils facing teenaged girls in this country in this time. The three pieces presented here reminds me of the strong writings of the ACT-SO poets I was very happy to judge during my years with NAACP in years past (and hopefully in years to come).

Andria Albert: “I am a simple female enjoying the simple things in life, like gum =)… Lastly, I just want to say that no matter what your gift is, remember to acknowledge where it came from and to use it for nothing but goodness. Also, don’t be afraid to dance... even if it’s in your house all by yourself!”
